Ending of a circle... Changing landscape...

Nisyros is a tiny volcanic island, located in south eastern Aegean (GR), with four tiny villages. Nikiá is one of them, the most remote, with around 20 people population and our home since October 2017. In this total silence and majestic isolation, almost all Mai 12 harsh noise was created. An iconic village, a breath away from the (active) volcanic crater!

After two years, the current circle on this majestic land came to an end with us moving forward, 700km north-west. However, the last day of packing our entire home, during our descent from our mountain, the island had another surprise for us! The fog arrived to celebrate our departure!

Scattered pieces of noise, captured or created in Nikiá, were the raw material for this album. A collection of feelings above all!

This album is (conceptually) the ending chapter of Nikiá duology. First chapter is "Nikiá" (mai12.bandcamp.com/album/niki) and also the last Mai 12 release (for the time being) emerging out of this one of a kind volcanic landscape!

"Ιn The Absolute Silence Of The Most Remote Village, On A Tiny Volcanic Island, We Made Our Noise" is one single piece, but due to Bandcamp's limitations, we had to divide it in eight parts.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
EVEN THOUGH THIS ALBUM IS LISTENABLE WITH SPEAKERS, LISTENING WITH HEADPHONES IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IF NOT MANDATORY!
